Washable Kit Bags Now Available!
Over the last few months, we have had many enquiries for cotton drawstring bags that are suitable for washing at high temperatures – you asked, and we listened!
This is vitally important during COVID-19 and can help to reduce the risk of spreading the virus further around your home.
Guidelines suggest that NHS/frontline worker uniforms should be removed upon finishing a shift and put into bags if they need to be taken home to be washed. With our drawstring wash bags, you can add your workwear, sports clothing or regular clothes to the bag and just throw it into the washing machine when you’re ready. This reduces the contact it has with you or other surfaces and helps to minimise risk.
When washing clothing that may be contaminated you should aim to wash it on the highest setting allowed by the manufacturing label, but ideally at 60°C.

Standard cotton bags are not made from pre-washed fabric, so they will shrink and distort even when machine washed at a low temperature.
Our new washable kits bags are made from 100% natural pre-washed cotton for minimum shrinkage (2-3% on the first wash).
