How to design your printed eco fabric bags

Consider your design
First things first, choose which branding you want for your bag. Do you have a colourful logo that you want to show off, or would you rather use a slogan or other text to provide a talking point? Consider how the bag design will fit in with your other branding- do you want to opt for a bag in your brand’s colours, or do you want to keep it minimal? You might also want to add essential information to your bag such as a phone number or web address.

Shape and Size
The next question is what is the purpose of your bag? For larger products you might want to opt for a large sized bag with plenty of room, or for heavy items our extra strong and durable jute bags are perfect. You don’t have to be limited by standard bag sizes either- we can create bespoke bags to any design, such as the rucksacks and messenger bags we have created for the Guardian to give out at Glastonbury festival.

Choice of eco bag materials
We have a range of different eco fabrics for you to choose from depending on your style preference and requirements. For fully coloured designs you can choose from dyed cotton or non-woven polypropylene which can be dyed to order in your pantone colours of choice. For more heavy duty and waterproof bags you might want to opt for woven polypropylene or if your priority is an eco-friendly material we can provide bags in organic cotton or canvas.

Finishing touches
When it comes to printing your design on the bags, we use a range of techniques such as heat transfer printing or screen printing depending on the materials used and the colours required. We use water based inks which are kinder to the environment. We also offer a range of different finishes to help your bags stand out- why not show off your logo with foil blocking or embroidery? You can customise everything about your bags even down to the handles which can be dyed the same colour as your bags, or a complimentary shade if you want them to stand out.
